Harrison Urby’s Vast and Versatile Courtyards

No matter the season, there is always something to do throughout Harrison Urby’s vast courtyards. Whether it’s taking a dip in the saltwater pool during the summer, getting your garden plot ready for spring showers, grilling up some food in the crisp fall weather or warming up by the cozy fire pits in the winter, our various courtyards cater to all.

Tucked away, only a few hundred feet from the Harrison PATH Station, Urby residents are treated to luxury living with vibrant communal spaces. With three buildings and over 1,100 residents, the sheer size of our Harrison location makes it conducive to new experiences and connections with neighbors, a common theme found across all Urby locations. Each building has its own courtyard, giving residents options and the ability to choose which outdoor experience they prefer.

In the heat of the summer residents can be found cooling off in the trapezoid shaped saltwater pool or soaking up the sun on comfy poolside loungers. Enclosed in an oasis of lush plant life, residents are treated to a private pool experience. Whereas inclusive community-focused events such as, pool parties and barbeques are often scheduled in this area for residents to come together around music and food.

For residents that have a green thumb that needs exercise, a personal garden patch awaits that sits in the heart of the courtyard. The addition of garden plots allow residents to get their hands dirty while connecting with nature and the changing of seasons. The close proximity of garden patches allow residents to cultivate their crops side by side, and exchange gardening tips while doing so. Residents have gotten creative with their garden patches, growing everything from herbs and spices to juicy watermelons and tomatoes, or simply enjoying their own budding wildflowers.

Urby understands the importance of integrating pets into the community. The creation of our Dog Parks are designed to inspire connection among residents and their four-legged companions. With ample space for pets to stretch their legs, the Dog Park has become an everyday essential for pet owners and animal lovers. There’s also no shortage of seating in the Dog Park, so residents can relax as their pets frolic with furry friends.

Throughout our various courtyards are grilling and fire pit stations. Large picnic tables are situated just a few steps away from each grill, inviting residents to an al fresco dining experience through the changing of seasons. Fire pits can also be found at select areas of the sprawling courtyards. They create a cozy and tranquil setting for residents to unwind, while surrounded by lush landscapes and greenery. Circular benches around each fire pit, allow a large number of residents to enjoy the heat together year-round.
